Lightweight welded steel rod frame with stove enamelled aluminium legs, newly re-upholstered in jacquard two tone fabric supplied by Jimmy Choo Paris. War surplus steel rod was used for the structure of these chairs. After 1948 the original aluminium legs and strung loose seat were replaced with wooden legs and traditional upholstery. This is a First Production example retaining its internal frame and sprung under seat
