Kjell Blomberg XL "Blomkulla" / Bird vase for Gullaskruf Sweden c1960
Hand blown extra large 45cm high "Blomkulla" / Bird vase designed by Swedish Glass Master Kjell Blomberg for the Gullaskruf glassworks Sweden. Designed and made during the early 1960s this was the largest one designed of a series. A large rounded bottle vase with a distinctive beaked top. In a strong Midnight Blue colorway with label "Made in Sweden" underneath. Comes in lovely original condition, just a few light scratch marks to outer body and shelf wear. A seldom seen piece which displays wonderfully.
